- A caller reported “some graffiti” on the back of a building. The caller “thought that someone may have broken into the building over the weekend” because “there are no apartments upstairs, and there are lights on.” An officer responded and found “no signs of forced entry and no other damages.”
- Christine Kay Moran of 1602 Second St. in Perry was issued a citation for second-offense dog at large.
- A caller said “someone is in the restaurant,” and “there shouldn’t be anyone there.” An officer responded and did not find anyone in the restaurant.
- A caller said “her vehicle had the tires slashed.” She said “this was the second time this happened,” and “her vehicle was also keyed.” An officer responded.
- A woman entered the offices of the Perry police Department and said “someone os threatening to report false information about her to the police.” Officers responded.
- A caller said someone was walking a dog, and “the dog was not on a leash.” Officers responded.
- A caller from a local restaurant said a customer left a quantity of “dollars on the counter after paying for her meal.” Officers responded and received the cash and a transaction receipt, which were “logged” into “evidence.”
- Geddy Nible, 30, 8576 S.E. 13th St., Runnells, Iowa, was arrested on a Perry warrant on a charge of third-degree theft.

- Leigh Houghton, 50, 307 Story St., Sheldahl, Iowa, was issued a citation for no insurance.
