August 23, 2022
- A 2005 Ford Mustang, registered to Francisca Santa Romero of 1424 Seventh St., Perry, and driven by Juana Sanchez of 1402 Willis Ave., Perry, collided with a 2018 Honda Civic, registered to Jorge lasso Prado of 2402 Iowa St., Perry, and driven by Gustavo Rosas Zuniga of 2402 Iowa St., Perry. No injuries were reported. Damages were estimated at $5,000. Sanchez was issued a citation for failure to obey a stop sign. Zuniga was issued a citation for no valid driver’s license.
- Officers received a report of criminal mischief in the 300 block of Warford Street. Minor damage was done to a vehicle.

- Roxana Figueroa Peraza, 43, of 1510 Estella St., Perry, was arrested on a charge of driving under suspension.
- A 1999 Chevy pickup, registered to Antonio Aguirre of 341 Pattee St., Perry, and driven by Amy Magdalen Aguirre of 341 Pattee St., Perry, collided with a 2015 Honda CRV, registered to Jose Helver Ramirez of 1510 Estella St., Perry, and driven by Roxana Elisabe Figueroa Peraza of 1510 Estella St., Perry. No injuries were reported. Damages were estimated at $4,000.

- Shane Tyler Smith, 42, of 1309 W. Second St., Perry, was arrested on a charge of violation of a protective order.

- A 2007 Toyota Highlander, registered to Beyen Andemichael Gebrezgbher of 2902 Iowa St., Perry, and driven by Asli Germay Gebrezghi of 2902 Iowa St., Perry, collided with a 2016 BMW, registered to Jhoselyn Ralda Guevedo of 1423 Evelyn St., Perry, and driven by Salvador Najera Ramirez of 1423 Evelyn, Perry. Ramirez sustained minor injuries. Damages were estimated at $7,000.

- A 2017 Jeep Wrangler, registered to and driven by John Charles Jacobsen of 1823 Fourth St., Perry, collided with a 2010 Toyota Camry, registered to Ladonna Dee Kennedy of 500 First Ave., Jamaica, and driven by Sarah Jane Kennedy of 500 First Ave., Jamaica.No injuries were reported. Minor damage was reported to the vehicles.
- Megan Liann Hudnell, 30, of 314 Warford St., Perry, was arrested on a Dallas County warrant for assault.
- Officers received a report of a domestic dispute in the 2800 block of Warford Street. Charges are pending.
- Officers received a report of criminal mischief and theft in the 2500 block of Perry Park Avenue. The loss was estimated at $550.
- A 15-year-old male from Perry was arrested on a charge of first-offense possession of a controlled substance-marijuana.
- Officers received a report of harassment in the 1900 block of Evelyn Street. The matter was a civil dispute.
- Officers responded to a report of theft in the 1400 block of Sixth Street. A report was completed.
- Officers received a report of a Facebook Marketplace scam. The buyer sent the money, and then the seller cancelled the account, leaving the buyer unable to make further contact with the seller. The loss was $120.
- Seth Blitz, 31, of 2811 Warford St., Perry, was arrested on a charged of third or subsequent offense domestic abuse assault.

- Lucas Breck Main, 40, of 2902 Iowa St., Perry, was arrested on charges of two counts of first-degree harassment, fifth-degree theft and public intoxication.
