When longtime Perry realtor and broker Bob Nevitt of Nevitt Real Estate purchased Lake Panorama Realty in Panora earlier this month, it led some to speculate that he was pulling out of Perry and laying off his Perry-area agents.
“Nothing could be further from the truth,” Nevitt told ThePerryNews.com Friday. “We’re not going anywhere. We’re not leaving Perry. This has been our base since 2004 and will continue to be our home office, the central office.”
Nevitt said his Perry team of Ruben Gonzalez and Nikki Deardorff and the Panora pair of John McDermott and Julie Wykoff will coordinate their services to buyers and sellers who are looking for properties in Perry, Lake Panorama and the surrounding area.
“This is an incredible opportunity for our company and our realtors,” Nevitt said. “While we’ve had a presence in Panora and Lake Panorama for many years, this gives us the opportunity to put down roots in a brick-and-mortar location.”
Exciting as the Panora acquisition is, it will operate as a branch office of Nevitt Real Estate, and the Perry office will remain the hub of operations, Nevitt said.
