Schools in the Perry Community School District will dismiss students early Monday, May 1, PCSD Superintendent Clark Wicks announced Thursday.
Students in the Perry High School and Perry Middle School will be dismissed at 11:30 a.m. Monday, and students in the Perry Elementary School will be released at 11:45 a.m. Monday. There will be no morning or afternoon preschool, Wicks said.
The schools will close in order to honor a beloved PHS teacher who died Sunday, April 23.
