The Perry Water Works started flushing the city’s water mains and fire hydrants Tuesday in their annual flushing program. The maintenance procedure will take approximately three weeks to complete.

During the flushing process, residents might experience low water pressure for a short time or discolored water. If discolored water is seen, flush the home plumbing until the water clears.

The Perry Water Works said it thanks Perry water users for their understanding cooperation during this important maintenance program. For more information, call 515-465-2562.
