Perry woman allegedly assaults pregnant Perry woman

A Perry woman was arrested on a Dallas County warrant Friday in connection with a Monday incident in which she allegedly assaulted a pregnant Perry woman.

Hannah Marie Ladehoff, 21, of 809 10th St., Perry, was charged with assault causing bodily injury or mental illness.

The incident began about 4:30 p.m. Monday in the 600 block of Warford Street, where officers of the Perry Police Department responded to a report of an assault.

The officers made contact with the victim, who was 13 weeks pregnant. The victim told the officers that Ladehoff allegedly assaulted her.

The officers observed on the victim “a red mark on the right side of her belly and a red mark on her right arm,” according to court records.

Ladehoff is held in the Dallas County Jail on a $1,000 cash or surety bond. She is scheduled for a preliminary hearing Aug. 5 in Dallas County District Court.

Ladehoff was convicted of first-offense domestic abuse assault-bodily injury or mental illness in 2022 in Dallas County District Court. She was convicted of assault causing bodily injury or mental illness in 2022 in Dallas County District Court.

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
