A Perry woman was arrested early Saturday after allegedly assaulting her boyfriend in their home.

Noelle Nicole Sinn, 25, of 913 Willis Ave., Perry, was charged with first-offense domestic abuse assault.

The incident began about 2:30 a.m. Saturday, when officers of the Perry Police Department responded to a report of “someone yelling and fighting in the apartment above,” according to court records.

The responding officers observed that the male victim “had numerous scratch marks on his torso and his arms,” and that “some of the scratches were bleeding.”

According to court records, Sinn “admitted to causing the injures to the victim” and said “she hit and scratched the victim.”

Sinn was held in the Dallas County Jail prior to her release after posting bond.

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
