
A Perry woman was arrested Tuesday afternoon after scuffling with another Perry woman in the home.
Julie Irene Williams, 42, of 1816 Willis Ave., Perry, was charged with first-offense domestic abuse assault.
The incident began about 3:30 p.m. Tuesday in the 1800 block of Willis Avenue, where officers of the Perry Police Department responded to a report of a domestic disturbance.
The officers made contact with Williams and observed on her “markings consistent with that of a physical altercation,” according to court records.
The officers made contact with the victim and observed on her “visible markings and bruising to her right eye as well as a scratch on her back,” all of which were “consistent with a physical altercation,” according to court records.
The officers concluded that Williams allegedly “was the primary aggressor,” according to court records.
Williams was held in the Dallas County Jail on a $300 cash or surety bond. She is scheduled for a pretrial conference Dec. 12 in Dallas County District Court.
