The PHS Pulse Dance Team will compete Friday, Dec. 1 in the 48th annual the Iowa State Dance and Drill Team Association (ISDTA) state dance team championships.

The PHS Pulse dancers will perform in Class XI pom at 10:15 a.m. in HyVee Hall and in Class VII hip hop at 5:57 p.m. in Wells Fargo Arena facing east. The three-day ISDTA state meet draws more than 250 Iowa High Schools and some 5,000 dancers, making it the largest state high school dance competition in the U.S.

The PHS team is coached by Faye Southward and Pulse alum Macie Mosher.
