PHS sophomore Guardado wins DMACC auto contest

“Congratulations to Charley Guardado!” said Tom Lipovac, Perry Community School District director of student activities, in a statement released Tuesday to the media.

Guardado was “the highest sophomore finisher in the Des Moines Area Community College auto contest,” Lipovac said.

Guardado’s instructor was Curt Cornelius. It is unknown when or where the contest took place or what it involved.
