Perry Community School District Superintendent Clark Wicks announced Thursday that a Perry High School staff member tested positive Thursday, Oct. 8 for SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19.
All students and families in contact with this student have been notified, Wicks said, and nine students and one adult be quarantined for 14 days in conformity with direction from Dallas County Public Health.
Wicks said that all other students can attend classes as normal.
