A public safety procession in honor of Woodward Volunteer Fire Department Chief Ken Cavanaugh will begin Saturday immediately following the 10 a.m. funeral ceremonies at the Woodward-Granger High School.
The route will proceed from the high school to the Woodward Cemetery via the Bouton fire station. Public observers of the procession are asked to remain out of the roadway and not to block the procession route.
The 12-mile procession will follow this route: Woodward Granger High School > North on Elm Avenue > East on W. Second Street > South on Main Street > West on Iowa Highway 141 > North on O Avenue > East on E. First Street > South on Martin Street > East on 130th Street > North on Ironwood Avenue > West on Fifth Street.
