
A Redfield man and two Redfield women were arrested Saturday after they allegedly harassed and assaulted three women from Stuart.
Edgar Allen Beerbower, 44, of 1407 Jefferson St., Redfield, was charged with second-degree harassment and interference with official acts.
Anna Reese Marlow, 42, of 1407 Jefferson St., Redfield, was charged with first-degree harassment and two counts of third-degree harassment.
Kylie Raylene Corwin, 20, of 1407 Jefferson St., Redfield, was charged with assault causing bodily injury or mental illness.
The incident began about 7:45 p.m. on H Avenue near Redfield, where Corwin allegedly “got into an argument with the victim and hit her in the face before wrestling with her on the ground,” according to court records.
The victim sustained injuries to her back and leg and “suffered a bloody nose” before leaving the scene with a friend and driving to Hanging Rock Park in Redfield, according to court records.
After the alleged assault on H Avenue, Marlow allegedly “threatened harm and sent a death-threatening message to” the friend of the victim.
Using her daughter’s Facebook account, Marlow allegedly sent a message that said, “this is anna better hope I dont fucking getahold of you im going to kill you little girl you are fucking dead,” according to court records.
At about 8:45 p.m. at the Hanging Rock Park, Beerbower allegedly used his vehicle to prevent the victims’ vehicle from leaving the park, according to court records.
Beerbower allegedly “blocked” the victims’ “vehicle from being able to leave with his vehicle,” according to court records. The victim “rolled her windows up and locked her doors out of fear.”
Marlow allegedly got out of Beerbower’s vehicle and approached the vctims’ vehicle “in a threatening manner and said. ‘What’s up, bitch?'” according to court records.
The victims “had to drive off of the roadway into the grass and around” Beerbower’s vehicle in order to exit the park, and Beerbower and Marlow then followed them in their vehicle, at which point the victims called the Dallas County Sheriff’s office, according to court records.
“Witnesses at the scene corroborated the events which took place at the scene,” according to court records.
Beerbower was held in the Dallas County Jail on a $1,000 cash or surety bond. He is scheduled for a preliminary hearing July 2 in Dallas County District Court.
Beerbower was convicted of assault causing bodily injury in 1999 in Polk County District Court. He was convicted of three counts of first-degree harassment in 2019 in Polk County District Court. He was convicted of harassment of a public official or employee in 2019 in Polk County District Court.
Marlow was held in the Dallas County Jail on a $2,000 cash or surety bond. She is scheduled for a preliminary hearing July 2 in Dallas County District Court.
Marlow was convicted of first-offense domestic abuse assault-bodily injury or mental illness in 2015 in Dallas County District Court.
Corwin was held in the Dallas County Jail on a $1,000 cash or surety bond. She is scheduled for a preliminary hearing July 2 in Dallas County District Court.
