Rep. David Young, Iowa’s third district Congressman in the U.S. House of Representatives, visited the Dallas County Hospital Saturday and met with the facility’s board of directors.
“I had an insightful meeting at Dallas County Hospital in Perry where we focused on the issues facing our rural critical-access hospitals,” Young said on his Twitter feed.
Comments were brisk on the Congressman’s post.
“Did they tell you that countries with universal health care have better outcomes, cheaper costs and that their citizens overwhelmingly approve of it?” said Facebook commentator Alii Ante Vos.
Young visited the new Guthrie County State Bank facility Monday morning and spoke with juniors and seniors in a government class at Tri-Center High School in Neola Friday.
