Rita Ringgenberg, 88, of Council Bluffs and formerly of Perry passed away Saturday, Sept. 3, 2016, at the Risen Son Christian Village in Council Bluffs, Iowa.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Sept. 7 at 10 a.m. at the Carris Family Funeral Home in Perry. Visitation will be Tuesday, Sept. 6 from 3-8 p.m., with family present from 6-8 p.m. at the Carris Family Funeral Home in Perry. Burial will be in the Violet Hill Cemetery in Perry.

She is survived by her son, Al (Jackie) Ringgenberg of Council Bluffs; daughter-in-law, Carol Ringgenberg of Omaha; grandchildren, Christopher (Kimberly) Ringgenberg of Elgin, Ill., Cassandra (Bobby) Baskett of The Colony, Texas, Matthew Ringgenberg of Council Bluffs, Alexander Ringgenberg of Council Bluffs and Eric Craig of Omaha; great-grandchild, Brandon Craig of Omaha; great-great-grandchildren, Braxton and Jackson Baskett; brother-in-law, Norman (Cecilia) Ringgenberg of Newton.
