A motorist apparently lost control of a vehicle on Iowa Highway 141 about 9:45 a.m. Wednesday, leaving the roadway and rolling several times before coming to rest alongside the pond near the 144 mile marker northwest of Granger.
There were no injuries reported in the incident, which is under investigation by the Dallas County Sheriff’s office.
The four-door passenger vehicle appeared damaged and thick with mud where it rested among the reeds and sedges at the pond side.
The Granger Police Department also responded.
