A semi-tractor trailer and an SUV collided early Friday on Iowa Highway 141 at the intersection of Willis Avenue.
One person was transported to Dallas County Hospital by Dallas County EMS.
The incident occurred about 12:45 a.m. in the westbound lanes of the state highway.
A Toyota Highlander sustained serious front-end damage and came to rest pointing westward in the intersection. The truck came to rest on the north shoulder on the westbound lanes.
The Perry Police Department is investigating the crash at this hour. The Perry Volunteer Fire Department, Perry First Responders and Dallas County EMS also responded.
