Bragging rights were on the line at Wiese Park Sunday as groups of Perry students participated in the traditional Powder Puff flag football tourney while the boys took to the McCreary Community Building courts for Iron Man volleyball.
The senior class girls proved to be an unstoppable force, prevailing in two contests to claim victory and the right to boast. Such honors for the fellas was seized by the junior class, who came on on out of the net action.
Perry will host Webster City at 7 p.m. Friday for their annual Homecoming game. The theme for this year is “Is this Heaven? No, its Perry!” Activities are planned throughout the week.
