Today our hearts are broken as we mourn the loss of Sharon Kay Reynolds Headlee, 81, of Westfield, Indiana.
Sharon was born Feb. 7, 1942, and passed away May 27, 2023, in Westfield.
She was loved by all who were fortunate enough to call her mom, daughter, sister, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother or friend.
We will remember her for her generosity to anyone she met. She was ready to help any person or animal in need.
Sharon worked many jobs throughout her lifetime, including beautician, farming and health care. She had a heart of gold yet could work right alongside the strongest of farm hands, driving tractors or trucks.
Sharon was always working with animals and tending to her huge garden.
Sharon spent her final days in Indiana with her youngest son, Daniel, and his wife, Mistie.
She will be coming back to lowa for burial at the West Cemetery. We will have a brief graveside service for family at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 17 followed by a Celebration of
Life at 5017 Panorama Dr. at 12 noon.
Sharon was preceded in death by her father, Morris Reynolds; and her mother and step-father, Bernita and Dwayne Dygert.
She is survived by three sons, David (Connie) Morrison, Brian (Shana) Morrison and Daniel
(Mistie) Morrison; sisters, Sandi (Frank) Teale and Julie (Lynn) Peterson; grandchildren, Melissa Morrison, Nicholas Morrison, David Dwayne Morrison, Shiann Huskins, Damion O’Neal and Sebastian O’Neal; great-grandchildren, Maverick Morrison, Sonya Johnson, Katherine Huskins and Trenton Tillman; and many nieces and nephews as well as great-nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask that you make a donation to St. Jude’s in her name.
