Several Perry skateboarders took it upon themselves this week to spruce up the skate park in Pattee Park, where they spend a lot of time on their boards.
Perry Middle School students Jace Newton, 12, Angus Nicolaisen, 12, and Brock Rowe, 13, said that along with cleaning, the skate park needs fresh paint. They said the paint is chipping badly and can hurt people when they fall off their skateboards.
