The 115 students of St. Patrick’s Catholic School in Perry staged their annual Christmas concert Tuesday night for an audience of about 300.

Music teacher Pam Kenkel accompanied the young songsters on the piano and provided direction. Video highlights of the performances can be seen below, and the full concert can be watched at the St. Patrick’s Catholic School Facebook page.

The program included the children of the Gingerbread pre-school singing “The Nativity Story” and the kindergarteners singing “Up on the Housetop,” “The Whole World is Waiting for Love,” “Stay Awake” and “We Wish You a Merry Christmas.”

The first graders sang “Children Run Joyfully” and “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer,” and the second graders performed “Advent Song” and “Holly Jolly Christmas.”

The third and fourth grade classes sang “It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas” and “The Twelve Days of Christmas.” The fifth graders performed “So My Sheep May Safely Graze” and “Silver Bells.”

Joyful Noise, the third, fourth and fifth grade chorus, sang “Do You Hear What I Hear?” and “Winter Fantasy,” and the middle school chorus delivered “Mary’s Little Boy Child” and “Winter Wonderland.”

All the students and many in the audience joined in the finale, Peter Scholtes’ “They’ll Know We are Christians.”
