Perry senior Zach Stewart (55-5) stands on the premier real estate in prep wrestling -- the champion's perch at the Iowa State Tournament. The fifth titleist in Perry history, he ends his career 124-36.
Perry senior Zachary Thompson (44-7) earned his fourth state tournament medal by placing fourth. He leaves as Perry’s only four-time medalist and as the career victory leader with an overall mark of 174-30.
Perry junior Kaleb Olejniczak (48-6) finished second to Brody Teske of Fort Dodge, one of only 26 four-time state champions in Iowa history. Olejncizak is 133-19 in three seasons.
For the second consecutive season Woodward-Granger sophomore Cody Fisher finished as the 2A state runner up at 195 pounds. He was 56-3 this year and is 102-9 in just two years.
Panorama senior Danny Nordquist (42-12) was eighth for the Panthers.
Freshman Wyatt Appleseth (43-12) placed eighth for Panorama.
Two-time medalist Gunnar Grunsted (45-7) finished his senior season in eighth place for Panorama.
Senior Trevor Carey (45-10) finished fourth for Panorama.
Stopped shy of the podium last year, Panorama’s Dalton Holmes (41-9) earned a medal for eighth place in his final season.

Congratulations to all placers, and to W-G’s Ryan Munoz, who qualified at 120 pounds in Class 2A and finished 1-2, the win his 100th career victory.
