A Celebration of Life for Sue Ann Swarts, 75, of Boone will be held April 23 at 11 a.m. at the Cornerstone Church in Boone. A luncheon will follow at noon at the church. A private family burial of cremains will be at Violet Hill Cemetery in Perry, Iowa.
Sue died Feb. 7, 2022, at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames, Iowa.
Sue is survived by her husband, Michael; son, Johnathan (Amy) Ward of Boone; daughter, Cynthia Sue (Ken) Dierking of Boone; son, William (Danielle) Ward of Boone; stepdaughter, Michelle (Donnie) Swarts Corbin of Saylorville Township; grandchildren, Keaton Dierking, Sophie Dierking, Taylor Ward, Ashley (Kirby) Ward Johnson, Peyton Ward, Trysten Ward, Ethan Ward and Kimberly Jillsen; and great-granddaughter, Carter.
Hastings Funeral Home in Perry is in charge of arrangements.
