Two people were apprehended at gunpoint by a Perry Police officer late Monday night when they were found driving a stolen vehicle near the corner of W. 10th and Pattee streets in Perry.
According to Dallas County Sheriff’s office call records, Shannon Scott Fredericksen, 43, of South Amana, Iowa, and Theresa Long, 48, were taken into custody without incident after the red Chevy S-10 pickup truck they were driving was stopped at 201 Pattee St. in Perry shortly after 11 p.m.
Fredericksen was arrested by Perry Police on Chickasaw County warrants on charges of second-degree theft and interference with official acts. Several Black Hawk County warrants had also been issued, according to police reports.
No local charges were filed. Long was later released.
