PANORA — A 19-year-old man is on life support after he drowned Saturday in Lake Panorama, according to a statement released by the Guthrie County Sheriff’s office.
The man was resuscitated by medics at the lake about 10 a.m. Saturday after he drowned while kayaking with friends, the statement said.
A Guthrie County Sheriff’s Deputy said the Guthrie County EMS, Panora Volunteer Fire Department and Panora First Responders responded to the scene. He said a statement would be forthcoming from the Iowa Department of Natural Resources.
