More and more people wishing to keep updated on the latest news and sports involving Perry and the surrounding area are turning to ThePerryNews.com, especially when it comes to coverage of Perry schools.

Last week Perry High School celebrated Homecoming, and ThePerryNews.com was there, every day, with complete stories and photo galleries posted every day with the most recent events and happenings.

During the Homecoming week, ThePerryNews.com posted 10 non-sports stories and photo galleries that involved activities related to “Spirit Week,” which included a total of 137 photographs and six video clips.

Toss in the football game, the preview story for the game, the cross country team’s Leon Fox Invitational, a home swim meet and a volleyball match, and five additional stories, with 60 additional photos and five video clips, can be added to the mix.

Those 15 stories and the 197 photographs and 11 video clips that accompanied them generated (as of Monday evening) more than 4,100 hits on our website, for which we are most grateful. Total visits to ThePerryNews.com for the week were more than 23,000.
