The theme was screams when the Perry Firefighters Association opened its annual Halloween Haunted House of Horror Friday night.
The Perry Firefighters Association Haunted House of Horrors will be open again Friday, Oct. 26 and Saturday Oct. 27 from 7 p.m. until the screaming stops. Beggar’s Night in Perry is Tuesday, Oct. 30, and the Horror House will be open from 7 p.m. Admission is $5.
Located on the west side of caboose park at First and Willis avenues, this year’s horror house includes new characters and a new set of surprises for any brave souls willing to prove their courage by journeying through the maze of madness and monsters.
The Perry Firefighters Association volunteers spent hours constructing blood-curdling cubicles, with new characters, new sights and new frights for all comers. Reports of high-pitched screaming were received Friday night, and proceeds from Saturday’s murderous matinee were donated to Perry’s Scout Troop 127.
