The third annual Charlie Brewer Memorial Fun Run will be held Saturday, Aug. 12 from 9-11 a.m. at the High Trestle Trail in Woodward, the organizers have announced.
Register online. Check in is from 8:30 a.m. to 8:50 a.m.
According to the organizers:
You’ve Got a Friend in Me will be giving back to the community since we have raised funds for the scholarship up to his graduating class. We will be helping out by supplying back packs, school supplies, coats, hats, gloves, snow pants, snow boots.
Supporting Beaver Creek with the food on their tournament.
Supporting the Woodward library program.
Adopting at Christmas time to help those in need.
Supplying snacks this year for the 5th grade Halloween party. Charlies favorite!
And whatever is left his senior year we would love to put remaining amount towards his class. Will be discussion when that time comes.
Charlie has a smile that is contagious and loves all things in life. He always thinks of others before himself. This is why we are giving back to the community in his name. So come run off some energy and bring the kiddos for some fun.
