Rain showers and thunderstorms are expected Sunday night for the Perry area, according to the National Weather Service office in Johnston.
There is a marginal risk for severe storms Sunday evening, and storms might be capable of producing hail and damaging winds, the NWS said.
There is also a conditional threat for tornado development, the weather service said. Locally heavy rainfall might occur with some storms.
