The Perry Volunteer Fire Department staged a controlled burn of a house on W. Sixth Street Saturday morning for training purposes.
Firefighters from the Bouton and Woodward departments also participated in the burn at 917 W. Sixth St., which started about 7:30 a.m.
The 104-year-old house is owned by Robert Moses of Perry, according to county records.
