A vehicle left the very slick roadway of Iowa Highway 141 Friday afternoon, entered the ditch and overturned.
No injuries were reported in the one-vehicle mishap.
The Chevrolet van entered the north ditch of the state highway just west of 16th Street and came to rest on its driver side and pointing eastward.
The Perry Police Department and Dallas County Sheriff’s office responded.
The freezing drizzle that began about 1 p.m. in the Perry area has left roads very icy, and motorists should use caution.
