Daylight savings time (DST) officially ends at 2 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 5, 2023, so Iowans may turn their clocks back one hour at that time.
DST will begin again in the spring, and clocks will “spring forward” one hour on the second Sunday in March.
According to the U.S. Department of Transportation, only Hawaii and parts of Arizona do not participate in DST. The Navajo Nation is the singular exception in Arizona.
