Mail carriers made a special delivery Tuesday to the Perry Food Pantry — 675 pounds of donated food donated over the weekend by community friends in Perry through their mailboxes.

“This annual community project of the National Association of Letter Carriers always brings us a hefty donation,” said Perry Food Pantry Site Manager Lou Hoger.

U.S. Post Office in Perry who picked up food along their routes included Michael Pentico, Richard Pentico, Cory Stika, Riley Clark and Tate Kunze. Perry Food Pantry Site Manager Lou Hoger received the donation from Perry Post Office Supervisor Mary Sundell and Postmaster Ron Alspach.
