A bicyclist struck a vehicle near Third and Pattee streets Monday afternoon.
Initial reports suggested a child was the victim, but a medical spokesperson indicated the victim was an adult.
“An adult male on a bicycle struck the side of a vehicle,” Dallas County EMS paramedic Clint Nelsen told ThePerryNews.
The victim was reportedly bleeding from the head, but the injuries were not believed to be life threatening, according to public safety radio traffic.
The incident occurred about 4:25 p.m. in the 1300 block of Pattee Street.
The Perry Police Department, Perry First Responders and Dallas County EMS responded.
