TAMA, Iowa – Seven-year-old Milla Keahna has been safely located, according to a statement issued Friday by the Tama Police Department.
“Law enforcement thanks the public for their assistance,” the statement said.
The child was reported missing Thursday by the Tama Police Department and the Meskwaki Nation Police Department. She was located through the joint investigative efforts of the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI) Major Crime Unit, Meskwaki Police Department, Tama Police Department, Tama County Sheriff’s office, Marshalltown Police Department and Federal Bureau of Investigation.
