Veterans Affairs expert to chat at Jamaica Public Library

The Jamaica Public Library at 316 Main. St. in Jamaica will host the second in a series of Saturday morning Coffee Chats on Saturday, July 29 at 10:30 a.m.

JAMAICA, Iowa — The Jamaica Public Library at 316 Main. St. in Jamaica will host the second in a series of Saturday morning Coffee Chats on Saturday, July 29 at 10:30 a.m., when Beth Watson, service administrator with the Guthrie County Veterans Affairs, outlines the services available through her office at the courthouse in Guthrie Center.

Watson will also open the conversation to questions that impact veterans locally and throughout the state and nation.

Coffee Chats are informal, small-group gatherings where people can interact with the
presenter of a topic with questions and discussion. Guests at the Coffee Chats will be offered complimentary coffee and treats, such as cookies, doughnuts or pastries.
