OGDEN — Familiar foes Woodward-Granger, Madrid and Ogden played nine holes of coed golf golf Friday, with the Madrid boys and Ogden girls claiming victories.
Madrid shot 181 to post the boys win, with Ogden carding a 184 and W-G a 188. Ogden’s 197 won the girls side, as W-G had a 224 while Madrid did not have the minimum of four players needed to generate a team score.
C.L. Lowe (43) of Madrid and Jacob Kathman (45) of Ogden were the boys medalist and runner-up, with Ogden’s Hannah Carter (45) and Kayla Walker (49) earning medals for the girls. Walker won a cardback tiebreaker with W-G’s Ashland James, who also had a 49.
Austin Ober (45), Brady Aunspach (47), Nick Brummond (48) and Joe Rhodes (48) scored for the W-G boys, with Max Helbling (50) and Hunter Pierce (53) also playing.
Cierra DeHoet (53), Paige Mescher (56) and Aubrey Mescher (66) scored for the W-G girls.
