
WEBSTER CITY — Saturday’s visit to the Dick Kennedy Duals proved a rough road for the previously undefeated Woodward-Granger, as the Hawks dropped all three of their duals while winning at total of 12-of-42 matches.
Clear Lake topped W-G, 53-21, with Southeast Polk posting a 66-12 victory over W-G while Webster City tallied a 48-33 win.
Top-ranked 2A 220-pounder Cody Fisher and heavyweight Tyler Lawrenson each went 3-0, with Fisher winning twice by pinfall and once by a decision while Lawrenson recorded three pins.
Cale Pritchett was 2-1 with a pair of pins at 170 pounds, with Joel Harney (106), Colt Palmer (132) and Dustin Harney (145) all finishing 1-2, with each scoring a pin for their individual win. Aidan Honkamp also finished 1-2, his victory coming via a decision.
W-G will wrestle at Bondurant-Farrar Thursday before competing in the WCAC tournament Saturday at Ogden.
