A Waukee woman was arrested after allegedly biting her husband on the arm in the course of a domestic dispute.
Stephone Ann Kriens, 40, of 1460 S.E. Bishop Dr., Waukee, was charged with first-offense domestic abuse assault-bodily injury or mental illness.
The incident began about 6:45 a.m. Sept. 16 in the 1400 block of S.E. Bishop Drive, where Kriens allegedly “reacted by biting” the victim “on the arm, leaving a bruise on his arm,” according to court records.
Kriens was held in the Dallas County jail prior to her release on her own recognizance. She is scheduled for a pretrial conference Oct. 30 in Dallas County District Court.
*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
