A Waukee woman was arrested Friday for allegedly assaulting her elderly mother in the home.
Jillian Eve Majerus, 40, of 210 Gray Ave., Waukee, was charged with assault.
The incident began Sept. 9 about 6:45 p.m. in the 200 block of Gray Avenue in Waukee, from where Majerus left after allegedly “stealing the victim’s property and pushing her to the ground in the residence,” according to court records.
A warrant for Majerus’ arrest was ordered Sept. 11 in Dallas County District Court and served Sept. 13. Majerus was held in the Dallas County Jail on a $300 cash or surety bond. She is scheduled for a pretrial conference Oct. 18 in Dallas County District Court.
Majerus was convicted of first-offense domestic abuse assault-use or display of a weapon in 2014 in Polk County District Court.
