Wayne Michael Overton, 62, passed away Monday, Feb. 5, 2024, in Smithville, Missouri.
Wayne was born Oct. 3, 1961, in Perry, Iowa, to Don and Carol Overton.
He was a proud alumni of St. Patrick Catholic School and graduated from Perry High School in 1981.
Wayne was a barber for more than 30 years and had shops in Colorado, Wyoming and Missouri.
He enjoyed spending time outside and had a passion for collecting antique barber supplies.
In death he rejoins his parents, Don and Carol.
Left to cherish Wayne’s memory are his siblings, Justine Holck, Art Overton, Lorna Liebmann, Donna (Tim) James and Matt Overton; and several nieces and nephews, all of whom he was very proud.
