WOODWARD — Visiting West Central Valley grabbed a quick lead and never relented in scoring a 54-41 win over Woodward-Granger in WCAC girls basketball Tuesday.

W-G hosts Des Moines Christian Friday, with the Hawk junior varsity and varsity girls traveling to Traer to face North Tama Tuesday. Both W-G teams will entertain Van Meter Jan. 19.
