A West Des Moines man was arrested Sunday after allegedly invading the home of a Waukee woman.
Kevin Mitchell Glover, 41, of 4218 Plymouth Dr., West Des Moines, was charged with third or subsequent offense domestic abuse assault, second-degree burglary, trespassing and first-offense public intoxication.
The incident began about 2:15 p.m. Sunday at a residence in the 1100 block of Mapleleaf Lane in Waukee, where officers of the Waukee Police Department responded to a report of a break in.
According to court records, Glover allegedly “kicked down the door” of the victim’s residence and “proceeded upstairs and began banging on the door to the room” where the victim “was hiding.”
Glover is held in the Dallas County Jail on a $10,000 cash or surety bond. He is scheduled for a preliminary hearing Nov. 5 in Dallas County District Court.
