Preston Nathaniel Clark, 18, of West Liberty, Iowa, was arrested Saturday on a charge of third-degree harassment.

A West Liberty teenager was arrested on a Dallas County warrant Saturday in connection with an incident earlier this week in which he allegedly harassed a, Earlham woman on the interstate.

Preston Nathaniel Clark, 18, of 1455 Bunker Dr., West Liberty, Iowa, was charged with third-degree harassment.

The incident began about 5:15 p.m. Sunday on westbound U.S. Interstate 80 near the 110 mile marker, where Clark allegedly “attempted to intimidate” the victim “by making offensive hand gestures towards her, swerving and revving his engine near her vehicle,” according to court records.

A witness in the victim’s vehicle and another motorist confirmed the account of Clark’s alleged actions.

“Clark has previously been warned by the Madison County Sheriff’s office for harassing” the victim “and her family,” according to court records.

A warrant for Clark’s arrest was ordered Tuesday in Dallas County District Court and served Saturday. Clark is held in the Dallas County Jail on a $300 cash or surety bond in advance of an initial appearance in Dallas County District Court.
