WOODWARD, Iowa — A drinking water boil advisory that was issued Monday afternoon for the city of Woodward was lifted Friday morning, a city statement announced.
“The water is now safe for consumption,” the statement said. “Boil order has been lifted as of 9:35 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 18, 2024.”
The Woodward Public Works repaired the broken water main and tested water over three days, the city said. Water service was interrupted Monday for residents north of the High Trestle Trail when the main broke.
