WOODWARD — The five queen and king candidates for Homecoming 2019 at Woodward-Granger were recently announced.

The king and queen will be crowned Thursday in the W-G auditorium in a coronation ceremony following the annual Homecoming parade at 7 p.m.

W-G (4-2, 2-0) faces Pleasantville (4-2, 1-1) at Hawk Stadium at 7 p.m. Friday. W-G is coming off a 60-6 whipping of Woodward Academy while Pleasantville fell, 54-13, to Pella Christian.

Queen candidates include Mae Anderson, Katelyn Bandstra, Emma Drake, Quinn Kaufman and Izabelle Meier, with Bryce Achenbach, Kaya Bowlsby, Jayden Dorenkamp, Jack Grell and Reese Jamison the candidates for king.
