A routine traffic stop by the Perry Police Department at Third and Estella streets about 8:30 p.m. Friday led to the arrest of two males.
Both occupants of the passenger vehicle appeared to be handcuffed and in police custody, and at least one was arrested on an outstanding Dallas County warrant.
According to radio traffic, one of the occupants was arrested on local charges of driving under suspension, possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
The identities of the suspects were not immediately available.
The Dallas County Sheriff’s office also responded to the incident.
