- A two-vehicle accident occurred in the 1200 block of Greene Street in Adel when a vehicle driven by Francisco Valadez-Perez, 1800 Grand Ave., #228, West Des Moines, was traveling westbound on Greene Street and was struck by a vehicle driven by Erin Hunsaker, 123 N.W. Fourth St., Stuart, that was turning into a parking lot. Damage to Hunsaker’s Ford F150 was estimated at $800, and damage to Valadez-Perez’s Chevy Prizm was estimated at $800. No injuries were reported. Hunsaker was issued a citation for failure to yield upon a left turn, and Valadez-Perez was cited for failure to have proof of insurance.

- A two-vehicle accident occurred at 801 Nile Kinnick Dr. S. in Adel when Melody VerWoert, 1212 Marshall St., DeSoto, was exiting a vehicle and a vehicle driven by Samantha Schepers, 26336 Burr Oak Lane, Adel, ran over VerWoert’s foot. Minor injuries were reported.

- A two-vehicle accident occurred in the 600 block of Nile Kinnick Drive S. in Adel when a vehicle driven by Lucas Wanninger, 104 Walnut St., Minburn, was stopped and was struck from behind by a vehicle driven by Mark Dorr, 504 S. 12th St., Adel. Damage to Wanninger’s GMC Sierra was estimated at $800, and damage to Dorr’s Honda Accord was estimated at $2,000. Minor injuries were reported.
- Steve’s Uptown Repair, 109 Nile Kinnick Dr. S., Adel, reported criminal mischief.
- A two-vehicle accident occurred at 801 Nile Kinnick Dr. S., Adel, when a vehicle driven by Jacob Kuhn, 716 Adair St., DeSoto, was exiting the parking lot and was struck from behind by a vehicle driven by Alexis Stine, 25372 L Ave., Adel. Damage to Kuhn’s Chevy Cruze was estimated at $300, and damage to Stine’s Pontiac Grand Am was estimated at $300. No injuries were reported.
- A two-vehicle accident occurred at 1624 HyVue St., Adel, when a vehicle driven by Mary Wiederien, 1624 HyVue St., Adel, was backing out of her driveway and struck a parked vehicle owned by John Dolan, 1770 92nd St., #2207, West Des Moines. Damage to Wiederien’s Chrysler Town and Country was estimated at $1,500, and damage to Dolan’s Dodge Grand Caravan was estimated at $1,500. No injuries were reported. Wiederien was issued a citation for unsafe backing on highway.

- Preston Wayne Atkins, 25, 212 W. Schrader St., Liberty, Mo., was arrested for domestic abuse assault, a serious misdemeanor.
