- A vehicle driven by Dolores Ruff of Adel was being parked in the 100 block of N. Ninth Street when it struck a handicap sign post. Damage was estimated at $150.

- Deanna Kons of Adel reported a credit card theft in the 1300 block of S. Seventh Street. Estimated value was $407.50.
- A vehicle driven by Mary Boyvey of Woodward was parked in the 800 block of Nile Kinnick Drive S. when a vehicle driven by Natalie Bomar of Van Meter was being parked and struck Boyvey’s vehicle. Damage was estimated at $350.
December 21, 2017
- A vehicle owned by Central Iowa Ready Mix was parked in the 1800 block of Roebling Road when a vehicle driven by Zachary Ayres of Des Moines was traveling eastbound and struck Central Iowa’s vehicle. Damage was estimated at $4,100.

- Cody Rae Payne, 44, 118 S. 13th St., Adel, was arrested for assault.
December 23, 2017
- Jeremy James Frame, 19, 320 Nile Kinnick Dr. N., Adel, was arrested for driving under suspension.
December 24, 2017
- A vehicle driven by Douglas Charleston of Adel was traveling westbound at the intersection of Greene Street and Nile Kinnick Drive S. when a vehicle driven by Thomas Thorpe of Adel was traveling northbound and struck Charleston’s vehicle. Damage was estimated at $7,000.
