Adel Police Report Oct. 24 – 30

October 26, 2016

  • A vehicle driven by Roxanna Bennett of Redfield was stopped in the intersection of Nile Kinnick Drive S. and Greene Street when a vehicle driven by Rubyana Neely of Dallas Center struck Bennett’s vehicle. Damages were estimated at $4,000.
  • Patrick Meeker of Adel reported the theft of a vehicle in the 500 block of Main Street. The item was valued at $1,000.
  • Rosa Elena Arellano, 20, 809 N.E. 46th St., Des Moines, was arrested on a Perry warrant for probation violation on an original charge of forgery.
  • Noah Matthew Meeker, 23, 1508 Greene St., #10, Adel, was arrested on a West Des Moines warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of OWI.
  • Sean Michael Teske, 45, 36 River Vista Dr., Adel, was arrested on a Dallas County warrant for probation violation on an original charge of public intoxication.

October 2, 2016

  • Joshua James Carney, 39, 209 S. 11th St., Adel, was arrested on a charge of simple assault.

October 28, 2016

  • A vehicle driven by Tracey Whipple of Adel was stopped in the intersection of Nile Kinnick Drive S. and Greene Street when a vehicle struck Whipple’s vehicle and then drove away. Damages was estimated at $1,000.
  • A vehicle driven by Harlan Sprecher of Boone was stopped in the 700 block Greene Street when a vehicle driven by Jeffrey Griffeth of Adel struck Sprecher’s vehicle. No damages were reported.
  • A vehicle driven by Jack Chapman of Adel struck a deer in the 24000 block of U. S. Highway 6. Additional vehicles, driven by Rachael Stegall of Grimes and Verlin Clay of Otho, Iowa, also struck the same deer. Total damages were estimated at $9,000.
  • David Jay Salgado, 44, 516 Main St., Adel, was arrested on a Dallas County warrant for probation violation  on an original charge of OWI.

October 29, 2016

  • Breane Lynette Philpott, 24, 18 River Vista Dr., Adel, was arrested on a charge of domestic assault.
  • Joshua Downing of Adel reported a theft from a vehicle in the 1600 block of Prairie Street. Items were valued at $1,300.

October 30, 2016

  • Casey’s General Store of Adel reported a theft of gas valued at $60.
